GSIA is organized around two main departments namely the Regulations Department and Support Services Department. The Regulations Department deals with Member Regulation and Market Regulation.
The Member Regulation entails the examination of member firms for compliance with GSIA rules and regulation as well as that of SEC rules while the Market Regulation Department oversees and regulates capital market activities in compliance with the securities laws of Ghana. Key to market regulation is to ensure market integrity and to protect investors and other market participants.
The Support Services Department deals with administrative and human resources management, accounting and finance functions and information technology management.
